Federal Decree by Law No. (11) of 2025
This decree-law establishes the National Media Authority as a federal public authority reporting to the Cabinet, with legal personality and financial and administrative independence. It consolidates specified functions previously exercised by the UAE Media Council, National Media Office and Emirates News Agency (WAM), and took effect on 1 January 2026.
